MIT Square Group is delighted to announce the establishment of a unique THANKS Scholarship on this auspicious International Day of Education, proclaimed by the United Nations (24th January) - officially to be launched on April 2025.

Dr. Mithileysh Sathiyanarayanan, a well-known scientist, was motivated and inspired by Late Mr. Thankappan (Senior Abroad Studies Specialist) and went on to pursue his Masters, PhD and Post Doctoral at the University of London. Dr. Mithileysh established this prestigious scholarship in admiration of  Mr. Thankappan.

Mr. Thankappan was a passionate advocate for education and global opportunity. Throughout his life, he dedicated himself to empowering students from his community to pursue their dreams of studying abroad. His selfless commitment led him to establish support programs and scholarship initiatives that alleviated financial burdens and opened doors to international academic experiences. Known for his warm demeanor, humility, and visionary leadership, Mr. Thankappan not only provided tangible assistance but also inspired countless young minds to aim higher and embrace the challenges of a globalized world. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy of service and his enduring impact on students’ lives continue to inspire and uplift future generations.
